“It’s Always Sunny Somewhere” Cocktail

In a shaker, add 1 ounce rye whiskey, 1 ounce Aperol, and 1/4 ounce simple syrup. Add 2 lemon wedges, 1 blood orange wedge, and 6 mint leaves and muddle together. Add crushed ice and shake. Pour into a rocks glass and add a splash of ginger beer. Top with crushed ice as necessary and garnish it with a blood orange wheel and mint.
