Doesn’t dad deserve the best? Dads (of all kinds) put up with a lot over the years, and it’s only right that at least once a year we treat them extra special. Father’s Day is coming up, and (in case you forgot) this is your perfect chance to show dad some serious love. And we all know that the best way to show love is through food! This much-loved Chicago spot will have indulgent Prime Rib ($45 for 16oz) along with its signature Double Eagle Cut of 45-day dry-aged double bone-in prime ribeye (32oz). The whole family will want to top off their meal with the Bacon and Barrel cocktail (Bacon-Washed Bacardi 8 with Grade A Maple Syrup & Angostura) to toast to the main man of the family.

Why should you have to choose between steak and sushi? You can have both at Kamehachi! In addition to their extensive sushi and sashimi menus, this Chicago staple also has Asian Lamb Chops, Chimichurri Skirt Steak, and Fillet of Beef with wasabi mashed potato. They have locations in the city as well as the suburbs, so it’s easy to treat dad to something special without driving too far.

Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye. Berkshire Pork Chop. Peanut Butter Pie. A perfect summer patio. What more could any dad want? How about a Seafood Lazy Susan, complete with Green Lip Mussels “Casino,” grilled oysters, grilled shrimp, and tuna poke? If you need even more convincing, Tortoise Supper Club has a whole menu of deliciousness waiting for you and dad this weekend.

Fig & Olive is offering a special Burgers & Bordeaux prix-fixe menu, made just with dad in mind. The Croquette Tasting is an amazing start to the meal with a trio of croquettes made with prosciutto di parma, organic mushrooms, artichokes with truffle, and saffron aioli. For your main, you can choose from options like the F & O Burger or the Lamb Burger with julienne dates plus feta and goat cheese fondue. The highlight though, is the Balsamic Glazed Short Rib with crispy polenta and lardons of smoked bacon sherry bacon vinaigrette. But save room for dessert! Because there’s Brûléed Cheesecake or an Apple Tart to finish.

Traditional brunch cocktails like mimosas and bellinis will be available à la carte, as well as cocktails curated to the patriarch of the family: Prime & Provisions’ signature Old Fashioned, a Beermosa, and the John Daley.
