Happy hour can boost any spirit, bring a smile to any face, and make any summer day shine just a little bit brighter. Here are a few happy hours you need to hit up this season in Chicago…

A raw bar and a sangria bar are both on the menu at Hubbard Inn, not to mention $5 martinis and $4 beer drafts. At the raw bar you can dine like a king (or queen) on $1 oysters, $3 King Crab Legs, and more. Then, choose from red or white wine and four different seasonal fruits to make the sangria pitcher of your dream for only $20. This is a fun date spot that can start at happy hour and go late into the night!

If you haven’t dined at Joy District yet, now is the time! Yes, their rooftop patio is gorgeous, and the bar area is fun, but don’t just come for drinks. Their menu is newly updated and includes elevated bar food, like delicious flatbreads, sliders, and the largest Root Beer floats you’ve ever seen. Lots of these bites are on their happy hour menu, along with half-price specialty cocktails, $20 domestic beer buckets, and $25 Corona buckets all week long.

Have your next girl’s night here! Famous for their rosé (and corresponding Instagram-friendly wall), you can get that summer sip for half price during happy hour! In addition to half-off glasses of rosé, you can also get half-price pizzas and select appetizers, plus $8 cocktails. Have a glamorous time, without breaking the bank!

Who says happy hour is only in the afternoon? Mezcalina has $6 margaritas all day, which means this should be the spot for anyone with summer Fridays who wants to start the weekend promptly at 1pm (or earlier, we don’t judge). Throw in some $3 tacos and a torta or two and you have the makings of an amazing evening.
“Aw Shucks” Happy Hour at Fisk & Co {225 North Wabash Avenue, Chicago; 312.236.9300}
“Our favorite way to end the work day involves oysters and a proper drink.” We couldn’t agree more! Come for the $1 oysters, or get a 1/2 dozen oysters plus a beer for only $10. Then stay for the “aw shucks” fun atmosphere!

“Rush Hour” at Le Colonial {937 North Rush Street, Chicago; 312.255.0088}
Anyone that can make “rush hour” a happy term is a hero in our books. Though this Chicago staple is moving locations soon, until then, they are paying tribute to their current address with glasses of wine, signature cocktails, and all appetizers for only $9.37 during happy hour. Come early to get a great spot on the patio!

Happy hour is Monday-Friday. Then “Happy After Hours” comes on Saturday. Tesori has both, and offers $6 taps by the glass, tap wine flights, draft beers, select antipastis, and more for the occasion. If you somehow missed happy hour during the week, they still have you covered.
