It’s summer, and that means it’s time for eating and drinking in the sunshine! These Chicago brunches, some new to the city and some old favorites, are going to make your summer even better. You won’t regret a single bite…
- Prime & Provisions {222 North LaSalle Street, Chicago; 312.726.7777}: This steakhouse has long been a favorite of ours, but now they are offering Sunday brunch in addition to their usual lunch and dinner service. Way to make us love you even more! A raw bar, an omelet station, and brunch classics all await.
- Beatrix {various locations}: With cafes across Chicago, we can all have a delicious time at Beatrix! They have lots of dine-in options, like Home-Made Belgian Waffles, but also lots of to-go treats and coffee. Productive weekends start at Beatrix.
- Cafe Robey {1616 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago; 872.315.3084}: We can not say enough about this brunch! Buttermilk Pancakes, a Breakfast Sandwich that’s to die for, Duck Hash…the list goes on and on! Plan a weekend staycation at The Robey Hotel and make this the high point.
- Whisk {2018 West Chicago Avenue, Chicago; 773.252.9060}: Don’t miss The Ron Swanson menu at this hearty breakfast spot! They just opened another location in Wrigleyville so there are plenty of places to dig in.
- Fremont {15 West Illinois Street, Chicago; 312.874.7270}: There is no brunch quite like this one. Fremont brings the party with a live DJ, plenty of drinks and a donut wall that’s not to miss. Bring the whole group and get ready for fun!
- Pacific Standard Time {141 West Erie Street, Chicago; 312.736.1778}: A new addition to the Chicago food world, PST is food lover’s paradise. Don’t miss the Sungold Tomato Salad or the Pull-Apart Milk Rolls…you’ll leave oh so happy!
- Kinship {625 Davis Street, Evanston; 847.563.8242}: Think local and eat local in Evanston’s best brunch destination. We love the Challah French Toast, and the personal touches throughout this friendly, bright spot.
- Rhyme or Reason {3146, 1938 West Division Street, Chicago; 773.687.8240}: This is Chicago’s grooviest brunch! With an “Earth Wind n’ Fire” and “Flour Power” menu, plus fun jams blasting, you’ll enter and leave with a big smile on your face.
- Hampton Social {353 West Hubbard Street, Chicago; 312.464.0500}: This one should be a no-brainer but no brunch list would be complete without it. Get the Chicken & Doughnuts and thank us later.
- Batter & Berries {2748 North Lincoln Avenue, Chicago; 773.248.7710}: There’s a reason people line up around the block. Visit this Chicago must-try, and don’t miss out on the French Toast Flight.
