Blackbird {619 West Randolph Street, Chicago; 312.715.0708}: This modern Chicago landmark and its parent company, One Off Hospitality, have been longtime supporters of community organizations like Pilot Light, Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and many others. Most recently, all One Off restaurants offered 25-percent off for all individuals working without pay during the government shutdown.
2. Cupitol {812 Grove Street, Evanston; 847.868.8078}: At Cupitol, their famous frothy Greek cappuccino, the Freddo, is so delicious, you’ll want to buy two. But how many would you buy if we told you this year 50-percent of the drink’s proceeds will go to One Hope United, a children and family services organization? The limit does not exist.
