If you haven’t completed your bracket yet…well, you’re too late. But that doesn’t mean you’re too late to enjoy March Madness in Chicago! Restaurants and bars across the city have been gearing up with game-time specials, extensive beer lists, and lots of meals to cheer for. No matter who you have in the championship game, these meals are certainly no. 1.

  • Stix and Brix {220 West 33rd Street, Chicago; 312.265.0219}: Nothing fuels a long night of basketball (watching) like pizza, and you can have it any way you want it at Stix and Brix. Their wood-fired pizza is available for dine-in, delivery, and pick-up, so if you need a halftime snack or overtime extras, this is the place to go.
  • Hampton Social {various locations}: Need to squeeze in date night during game time? Hampton Social has locations across Chicago and the suburbs with bar areas that are as picturesque as they are delicious. Come for happy hour rosé and linger over dinner at the bar.

  • Jake Melnick’s Corner Tap {41 East Superior Street, Chicago; 312.266.0400}: This ultimate Chicago sports bar is a serious no-brainer for all your March madness needs. Their famous wings are worth the hype (they come in a wide range of flavors), but be sure to stay for their desserts, like Fried Oreos and the Apple Pie Skillet. They also have a Jumbo Tower for only $29.99 on gamedays! (See the photo above for all the glory.)
  • Frontier {1072 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago; 773.772.4322}: There have been a few warm days in March and that has us oh so excited for more springtime sun! However, we all know Chicago weather is unpredictable. If you want a taste of patio weather without risking getting cold, Frontier’s indoor/outdoor patio and glass-topped dining area is the perfect spot. Come and enjoy the best Chicago has to offer in springtime weather and excellent food.
  • Smoke Daddy {various locations}: Their Wicker Park spot is a Chicago classic, and now you can gear up for Cubs season at their Wrigleyville location. Celebrate baseball and basketball by watching March Madness over the city’s favorite barbecue.
  • Headquarters Beercade {213 West Institute Place, Chicago; 312.291.8735}: Play games during commercial breaks! Try different beers over halftime! You can make the most of gameday at Headquarters. Plus, stay tuned for their Lakeview location, which will be re-opening soon!

  • Bar Cargo {605 North Wells Street, Chicago; 312.929.0065}: Get a little slice of the good life at Bar Cargo! They have an elevated bar experience that will let you sit back and relax as you watch your teams. Definitely give The Chicago Pizza a try!
  • The Fifty/50 {2047 West Division Street, Chicago; 773.489.5050}: After two decades of providing burgers, barbecue, and fried food, plus a vast beer menu, this big league sports bar is a safe bet for any sporting event. They have tons of space for large groups or bracket competitions so everyone can get in on the action.
