There’s still time to take advantage of these perfect-for-summer restaurants while the weather is warm
Yes, yes, we know … Labor Day is around the corner, and before we know it, summer will be over. But fret not, you still some time to make the most of these few final patio-appropriate weeks. Here are our top 10 spots where you can still take advantage of a Chicago summer meal …

- Tuco & Blondie {3358 North Southport Avenue, Chicago; 773.327.8226}: For a little “Mexifun” in the summer sun, this is your spot! Their Holy Grail Nachos really are heavenly, especially when paired with a margarita!
- Yolk {multiple locations}: While we still have lots of daylight, schedule an early morning breakfast date before work, or plan on staying at brunch an extra hour. You’ll miss the sunshiney time spent sharing pancakes or French Toast when the winter chill sets in.

- Beatrix {multiple locations}: This Lettuce Entertain You concept is great for lazy afternoons or working remotely when you can’t stomach another summer Friday in the office. They have cafes across the city but the Fulton Market spot has an especially pretty patio!
- Riccardo Osteria {1023 West Lake Street, Chicago; 312.291.8620}: If you haven’t been to this new West Loop spot, you need to head there for happy hour stat! The deals here start with 50 percent off appetizers and only get better from there. Just make sure to finish your meal with swig of limoncello.
