However, beer-lovers should be sure to try the Siena Draft, a Goose Island, Italian-style wheat beer you can only get in-house. Pair it with the Wisconsin Formaggi pizza made with 18 fontina, montamore, Dunbarton blue cheese, and fresno chilies, that partners perfectly with a cool beer.

If you’re someone who likes their options, there is no better spot to be for beer than Rockit Bar & Grill {22 West Hubbard Street, Chicago; 312.645.6000} in River North. A new addition to the Chicago food scene in 2016, this is a neighborhood spot themed around a grittier version of an Alice in Wonderland vibe. Every weekday from 4-6 pm, diners can take advantage of deals like $6 appetizers and (of course) $3 draft beers. If you like what you try for the holiday, come back on Wednesdays for $5 pints of Miller Lite … plus you get to keep the glass!

In French and German cuisine, alcohol is a key part of the meal.
