In 2015, Eat Purely launched an on-demand, healthy food app for hungry Chicagoans. The app has taken off, continuing to spread the gospel of healthy food all across Chicagoland (including Evanston and Oak Park). To keep up with budding appetites, the company recently relocated its headquarters to a new, 8,500-square-foot space. Boasting state-of-the-art technology, the new operational kitchen helps streamline the service from operations to culinary workflow.

On par with the growth, Eat Purely also announced a new chef partnership series. With plans to collaborate with a number of notable chefs throughout the year, Eat Purely now offers even more chef-driven healthy fare.

The first chef on the roster is Kevin Hickey, the Michelin-starred chef of The Duck Inn {2701 South Eleanor Street, Chicago; 312.724.8811}. When approaching the health-forward app, Hickey revamped a few tried-and-true recipes, while pulling inspiration from his own life.

“I wanted to take some things that I’ve done before that were delicious and make them healthy, yet still soul satisfying,” Hickey explained. “I was mostly inspired by my wife’s constant efforts to cook healthy and vegetarian at home. She’s been a source of technique and inspiration throughout this process.”

Choose your meal: With over 200 rotating options already available for lunch and dinner, there will be an additional 15 unique creations from Hickey. His contributions, including The Chicken Meatball with Orecchiette, will rotate through the app.

Dietary Restrictions: Ready for any and all eaters, Eat Purely lists ingredients and dietary information, including vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free options.

Food for all: Order for you and your little one, thanks to the newly available kids meals. Swipe through kid-friendly, healthful options from Chicken Fingers with carrot sticks to Vegetable Mac and Cheese.

Download the app at eatpurely.com and swipe your way to health.
