Monkey Gland Cocktail at Artango Bar & Steakhouse

The new Artango Bar & Steakhouse {4767 North Lincoln Avenue; 872.208.7441} opened in April and draws inspiration from the 1920s in Buenos Aires, when the increasingly cosmopolitan city teemed with nightlife, restaurants, tango salons, and opera houses. And this is evident especially in their Drink Menu, which is based on research of actual 1920s Prohibition-era cocktails, many of them lost over time. Now Artango has brought them back, served in retro period glassware with wild names like the Daisy Cutter and Savoy Corpse Reviver.
