This local, chef-crafted meal delivery service takes away all the hassle of curating a wholesome lunch or dinner—like where to find fresh ingredients and how to make them into something delicious—and replaces it with just a swipe on your smartphone. Healthy living doesn’t have to be intimidating or inconvenient. Using fresh, whole ingredients, experienced chefs curate a rotating menu that spans cuisines and diets far and wide, while keeping all meals nourishing, delicious, and diverse.
Eat Purely believes one of the founding pillars behind an empowered lifestyle is a nutritious diet. Improved moods and an increase in energy often start on the plate. But you don’t need a lifestyle overhaul—at Eat Purely, it’s all about eating well made easy. Here are three (super easy!) tricks to help you stay on track with your New Year’s resolutions.
1. FOCUS ON WHAT YOU WANT TO EAT, NOT WHAT YOU DON’T
“Sometimes when we’re trying to become healthier, whether our goal is to gain muscle tone or lose weight, for example, we tend to focus on the food(s) we want to avoid,” says Christina Klinepeter, Director of Marketing and Communications for Eat Purely. “Instead, focus on what nourishes you and on ideal foods that you want to consume for health benefits. Think about the positive rather than the negative, and it can be more effective in creating habits that last.”
2. HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE
Staying hydrated is more than just important to your health, it’s crucial. Water plays a number of critical roles in your body’s self-care functions: it flushes out waste to lessen the burden on your liver and kidneys, it helps your body recuperate from physical and mental fatigue, and it carries vital nutrients to cells in other areas of your body, like the brain. A general guideline for hydrating is to consume half your body’s weight in ounces (for example, if you weigh 150 pounds, that would be at least 75 ounces of water a day), but of course your specific needs can vary depending on your lifestyle and environment. Be wary of treats that might dehydrate you (like coffee) and get proactive with snacks that can help hydrate you, like most fruits and veggies (think watermelon or cucumbers—yum!)
3. KNOW YOUR RESOURCES
“Whether you’re simply trying to eat healthier or have committed to a program like Whole30, know your resources for helping yourself to stay on track,” Klinepeter explains.
Whether it’s a health-tracking app, prepared meals, or a delivery service like Eat Purely, there are resources all around you designed to make getting to your goal a smooth ride.
