Did you forget to make Mother’s Day plans? Don’t worry, you’re not alone, and we have you covered! These Chicago hot spots and hotels have weekend brunch and extra special cocktails that will make mom feel like a queen for a day. Plus, she’ll never know that you waited until the last minute to book! (We won’t tell if you don’t!)

Cafe des Architectes at The Sofitel {20 East Chestnut Street, Chicago; 312.324.4000}: The newly opened restaurant in the Sofitel is a bright and beautiful place to take mom for her special day. Plus, you’ll be one of the first in Chicago to try it out! They will have a four-course family brunch menu with options like Salade Lyonnaise with pork belly, Seared Scallops with polenta, and Lemon Tart.

Truluck’s Seafood, Steak & Crab House {Gold Coast and Rosemont locations}: There’s something for everyone on this menu, making it perfect for a larger family! Plus, they are currently offering limited-time, Southern-inspired brunch options with an exclusive specialty cocktail, “The Matriarch” in honor of mom.

Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago {221 North Columbus Drive, Chicago; 312.565.5258}: If you’re worried about timing for the day, The Radisson is offering extensive brunch hours from 10am-3pm with a buffet including bottomless Champagne, and featured menu items like oysters, crab legs, carved-to-order prime rib and leg of lamb, eggs Benedict, and more! How could you say no?

Macello Chicago {1235 West Lake Street, Chicago; 312.850.9870}: Macello’s has classic meals that any mom would love, but their Mother’s Day celebration doesn’t stop there! They will also have the specialty “Mamma Mia” cocktail on offer for $10. Made with Aperol, St-Germaine, Prosecco, and Aranciata Rossa, it is the perfect taste of spring in Chicago! 

The Lobby at The Peninsula {The Peninsula Chicago, 108 East Superior Street, Chicago; 312.573.6695}: For a luxurious, family-friendly brunch, The Lobby at the Peninsula Chicago will host its ever-popular, all-day brunch buffet. Mom will enjoy live music from a string quartet, while the kids can hang out in the Children’s Lounge with a magician, a balloon artist, and Peter Bear.

Signature Room at the 95th {875 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago; 312.787.9596}: Treat mom to the best views in the city! The Signature Room at the 95th will offer an expansive buffet with everything from fresh seafood and seasonal salads to a prime rib carving station, in addition to an à la carte menu.

Walton Street Kitchen + Bar {912 North State Street, Chicago; 773.570.3525}: Walton Street will be offering brunch and dinner for Mother’s Day! Brunch will include a special Quiche Lorraine and dinner will debut a Brioche Crusted Halibut. Their famous Southern Fried Chicken will also be available all day.
