Is anyone else making it a four-day weekend next week to celebrate the Fourth of July? Because if you are (and even if you’re not), you’re going to need some serious summer food to see you through all the celebrations and festivities! Whether you’re hosting a party, attending a friend’s event, or just want to make sure your fridge is stocked, these Chicago spots are hooking us all up with amazing Fourth of July catering and holiday specials.
Smoke Daddy {various locations}: Free things are the best, and everyone will receive a complimentary side with the purchase of any catering package from Smoke Daddy (choice of coleslaw or potato salad) for the weekend. You can even order a whole pig! Just remember to order directly with the 4 Star Restaurant Group Catering Team to receive the Fourth of July offer on their website or via email at catering@4srg.com.
Goddess & Grocer {various locations}: What would a Fourth of July celebration be without an American Flag Cake? You can get a slice for yourself (we recommend them for the perfect sweet breakfast option) or a whole cake for your friends and family. Goddess also has lots of other amazing catering options but their flag cake is not to miss.
Publican Quality Meats {825 West Fulton Market, Chicago; 312.445.8977}: Get your quality meats delivered right to your door! You can order beef, pork, lamb, and more, all from the best in local and national farms. They have delivery and catering menus, but you can also make specialty orders for their butcher just for the holiday.
Lucky Clucker {3626 North Talman Avenue, Chicago}: Barbecue is a classic part of any summer party and Fourth of July is no exception. Wing-lovers are going to flip over options like Classic Buffalo, Thai Chili, and the Chicago Fire wings that might be messy, but sure will be delicious. You can order them en mass for a fun party finger food!
Frontier {1072 North Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago; 773.772.4322}: Frontier will once again have Fourth of July catering during the holiday weekend that is perfect for those hosting parties! Choose from the Whole Animal Experience (choice of Smoked Pig, Smoked Wild Boar, Smoked Goat, and more) plus sides like 5 Cheese Mac, Caesar Salad, a Custom Sandwich Platter, or a Build-Your-Own Feast. But order fast! 72 hours notice is required for all catering orders, so don’t miss out.
Joy District {112 West Hubbard Street, Chicago; 312.955.0339}: If you want to get out and head the town for the holiday, go to “Uncle Sam’s Cookout” rooftop party at Joy District! There will be $5 grilled Hot Dogs with all the fixings (special is available on the rooftop only) and a Boozy Firecracker frozen cocktail! You can also enjoy other frozen cocktails like Frozé and a Casamigos Margarita. Downstairs, Parlay at Joy District will open at noon for a “Forty’s on the Fourth” party featuring select 40-ounce beers paired with a whisky shot for $12. Up or downstairs, you know you’ll have a good time.
The Bristol {2152 North Damen Avenue, Chicago; 773.862.5555}: For their second annual “Bristol, Beers & BBQ” celebration, The Bristol will have a specialty barbecue menu with specials like elotes, watermelon salad, baby back ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, and more! There will also be a tap takeover with Off Color Brewing with unique draft pours!
