Summer means it’s time for rosé…and the these Chicago spots are stepping up to the plate

Lets’ all be honest. Nothing says “summertime” quite like a glass of rosé. Some may say it’s basic or cliché, but we say that they’re wrong. Rosé is crisp and delicious, it pairs well with a wide range of dishes, it improves any patio day, and it looks great in your #summertimechi Instagram photos. What’s not to love? If you’re embracing rosé this summer, as we hope you are, be sure to add these hotspots to your list.
The Kitchen {316 North Clark Street, Chicago; 312.836.1300}: If you’re a true rosé-lover, you are going to want to pay attention. Because The Kitchen is giving away a rosé party for 8 this summer for one lucky winner (per each of their locations)! You and seven of your closest friends can make the most of the season and this delicious drink, and you can enter all July HERE.

Cabana Club {The Robey, 2018 West North Avenue, Chicago; 872.315.3083}: Cabana Club is the ultimate summer spot, with amazing city views and a relaxing pool to boot! On top of that, they also have a killer bar menu that includes Rosé Spritz in 5-pack buckets. Perfect to bring the whole crew and have fun in the sun! If you happen to not be a rosé fan, we also have to mention their 64oz giant Frozen Margarita (because how could we not?).
Le Colonial {57 East Oak Street, Chicago; 312.255.0088}: This Gold Coast staple has an updated look thanks to their new location, but the menu is still filled with the same delicious standbys you have come to rely on. Their French-Vietnamese fare pairs so well with light summer wines like rosé, and luckily they have their very own rosé label for you to sip on. If you haven’t been to their new spot yet, now is the time!

River Roast {315 North LaSalle Drive, Chicago; 312.822.0100}: River Roast’s rosé & oyster weekday special is happy hour perfected. From 3-5pm during the week, you can dig in to a dozen oysters and bottle of rosé wine for only $35. Sit at the bar or along the river to soak in the sun while enjoying a refreshing summer combo.
The Goddess and Grocer {1649 North Damen Avenue, Chicago; 773.342.3200}: We have a new spot to add to your brunch list! The Damen location of The Goddess and Grocer is now offering delicious brunch options like Challah French Toast and a Fried Egg BLT. Pair them with one of their Rosé Spritz Buckets, and you’ve got the perfect start to a summer weekend.

Hampton Social {various locations}: Their décor proclaims “Rosé All Day,” and Hampton Social stands by that promise. They have plenty of rosé wine options, but their Frosé is a must-try. The combo of Tito’s vodka, rosé wine, and peach pureé is perfect for the new warm weather.
Hotel Zachary {3630 North Clark Street, Chicago; 773.302.2300}: Game days aren’t just for beers! You can sip on rosé while kicked back on the elevated patio above the craziness of Wrigleyville and just relax in the sun. Hotel Zachary is the perfect respite before heading into the Cubs game, and with a rosé in your hand…it makes for a perfect day!

Siena Tavern {51 West Kinzie Street, Chicago; 312.595.1322}: Just for summertime, Siena Tavern has a whole menu devoted to the pink fermented grape. Sparkling or still, they have you covered! It pairs well with one of their many decadent pasta dishes, and you can enjoy it on their River North patio. It’s a win-win!
Next of Kin {625 Davis Street, Evanston; 847.563.8242}: This Evanston spot is a welcome respite from the craziness of downtown, and they just also happen to offer half-price bottles of rosé and sparkling, every day before 7pm. Pair a glass with one of their specialty, housemade sweets for a summer treat.
Joy District {112 West Hubbard Street, Chicago; 312.955.0339}: Alert alert! Joy District is now offering $5 rosé glasses on Thursdays starting next week (the week of July 15)! Perfect for an after-work drink in the summertime sun.
